java fern has worked for me. gravel, no gravel this stuff is hardy and easy to care for.

Forgot to mention, I'm looking for dwarf or medium sized snakeheads that can be shipped to Montreal. Had a Golden Cobra (channa aurantimaculata) that recently died on me and all I can get around here are rainbow and giant snakeheads. thanks. -JP

Anyone know of any lfs in the Alberta area that ships snakeheads? Last time I was there I noticed BA's had a much better selection than we get over my way but the manager said they don't ship. thanks.
