Thanks for the tip. I will def try that next time. I only used the community formula because I have lots of it here and wanted to use some of it up. That stuff works great on my albino cories. They are a rich vibrant orange instead of pale pink like you see them sometimes. I also was suprised to see my albino pleco go nuts for it on a barebottom tank... He comes down from his favorite spot on his driftwood and vacums it up quickly.. very fun to watch.... Oh ya i have northos that beg for it also.. haha Mooooose

The ones that sometime do not hatch will hatch with the motion / heat from body. During the last batch of hatches I did an experiment with the one group. I am feeding them exclusively on NLS right from the start. Crushing small community pellets. This group is doing exceptionally well. If I ever do a cory hatch I will def'n'ately try a NLS batch of them.. Pretty cool stuff.... Moooose

Hey All, I am looking for something fairly specific: 20 Gallon Acrylic Tank: seaclear 20 gallon acrylic at Petsmart in the States I have a 8 gallon hex "seaclear" and it is really good. Just wondering if anyone has come across seaclear acrylic tanks in their travels. Think Petsmart or Petland would be able to special order this? Moooooose

Not nearly the hatch rate that I was hoping for but at least I have 'some' fry. I guess some is better than none......

I've had up to three pill bottle sized containers in my cargo pants.. With the peat it doesn't look tooo pleasant so I generally try to keep them concealed. Moooose

Hatching out 3 sets. 1st set of Aphyosemion australe has had a good hatch rate.. Have to wait and see on the other 2....

Cheese - I've ordered from brineshrimp direct in the past and had great results from their product. But the shipping was very high. I think you would do best as a group order. I still have a ton of decapulated and regular bbs from my original order and that is after giving Toirtus a giant bag of decapsulated. The only thing I don't like about decapsulated is that I always have this feeling that I am going to feed too much with it. It seems like something that could easily foul the water. All my fish I've fed with these like both. That Holdings guy that has killi fish. I got micro worms from him in the past and I was pleased with his promptness and good packing as well and i like that he uses 'buy now' on alot of his fish. This is the guy/gal Webmoose bought his eggs from. Must not have sold them all. Yeah thats my egg pusher! I go thru him because I've had sucessful hatches and you will see him posting eggs all summer long. That was what I meant by the bags will be going for 40 bucks by the end of summer. His auctions get more and more popular and he offers many more. The other person that has killies and would be a good option is the guy that supplied us with all the great quality killies at the last CAS auction... I just got back from using 5 used bags to bag up a bunch of fish no problems.. but it was a short trip and all the bags were in a bucket just in case... I keep meaning to pick some new ones up.... Moose

I personally really like the picture. The heater finishes off the "Jurassic Park" look. Just take it into photo shop and change the 200 WATT to 20,000 WATTS and it would be perfect.... Moose

Great pictures... These little dudes are great.. I broke down and picked up 3 a little while back.. I swore there were 4 in the tank when I went in and asked for 4 from the Fish Store employee... Sure enough go back a week later the the 4th one was in the tank swimming around... Moose
