At the moment I'm at my end ! I have hair algae and I can't get rid of it !

Yes I had shrimp and fish in there . The water and filter was already established and everything was fine .i would not have put livestock in if was not safe to do so .... It was the co2 .... As I had to unplug it to turn it off ....

Well !!!! For some reason my timer for my co2 malfunctioned ! It did not turn off last night ..... Looks like 90% of my shrimp are dead ! Last time I ever use a digital timer !

Got the stock in and everyone looks happy

I've had 0 problems as of yet .... There all peaceful ... You better not jinx me ! Lol Blake

Tie any kind of moss too wood and it will attach .... The only moss iv not been able to get to attach is flame .... Xmas , willow , fissiden all attach quick ... Or find wood with holes and crevices and stuff the moss in . Blake

Get some wood and then cover it in moss .... Can't go wrong with moss ... Blake

I second ckmullin . I only use filter floss on my planted tank ... And I only rinse my floss once a month and change it every 6 months .... Blake

Maybe it's just me but when you say " carbon " are you talking about the black filter media ? If so , you want to take that out . It should only be used to remove medications and impurities.... It will suck out the excel ... Blake

Well I'm swapping the hair grass for Glosso , had to remove a bunch of the fissiden and thin out some of the other plants to make room for a large piece of driftwood . It's going to be mostly moss tho ... That's the goal . Blake
