    Are you sure there are no eggs already in the tank ? I'd put a half coconut shell in there with a hole to small for the pleco to get in too .... Other then that they will breed ... Is there just one female ? If so the male will stress her out ... Blake

    When I had mine , I added miracle grow sticks Broken up in to four chucks per stick and punched them in to the sand every 8" Blake

    Having a female in that tank will be war . Two males without a female is fine but a female changes everything . Even if the 2 f and 2 m pair breeding makes it worse . As soon as they spawn they will attack anything that moves and a 50 gallon tank is not that big . I'd only have 1 pair in the 50 and nothing else I might add that some males are greedy and will try spawning with both females . I had 2 females and 1 male and both females had eggs at each end of the tank and then ended up having to get rid of the male as the females where trying to kill him " cheating bastard " lol Blake

    So I removed 1'. X 1' of DHG and replaced it with fissiden . This is a test patch too see how well it will do . Here is day 1 of the planting Blake

    Yeah I picked up some PVC awhile back and sanded the white off . Yes there is compressed co2 on this thank Blake
