Here is my 70 gallon aquarium Enjoy

I am not to sure of the size yet, I am waiting for my boss to pick up an aquarium. Hopefully it will be at least a 40 gallon. I plan on making it a community planted tank.

Hey, So I am going to be starting up a new aquarium soon, and I was just wondering from personal experience which starter fish that you have had great success with. I currently have an aquarium at home that has been up and running for almost 2 years now, I am starting the new aquarium at my workplace. Thanks in advanced!

Yeah they are awesome, before I had to move my aquarium, my lotus plant grew huge leaves, they had to been at least 8-10 inches in diameter. But it has not growing that big yet, but it has produced many more plants in my tank.

I have T5 lighting, I'm not exactly sure which specfic kind it is, so that there could be a factor. As for substrate I have a layer of fine gravel, and then a layer of dirt, and then i have another layer of gravel on top of that. I do not use the ladder for the CO2 because I was told that is does not work so well, so I have the CO2 going into my intake tube on my filter. As for the DIY, what are the specific amounts you put in per volume of water?

I have yet to learn the names of plants, so I am not exactly sure what is in my tank. I do have a book that eventually I will get out and read about plants so I can learn the names. But I have a ton of grass, this plant that grows huge leaves that look like lily pads, and then there are a few other kinds in there..

So currently I am using the Hagen Nutrafin CO2 system on my 40 gallon aquarium. I feel this system is not producing enough CO2 for my aquarium as the leaves on my plants still die off quite easily and my plants are not growing as well as I thought they would be. So I was wondering what other CO2 set ups there are out there with out having them quite costly. Thanks in advanced!

Hey! I just thought I would introduce myself as I am new to this site. I'm Katie and I have a 40 gallon planted aquarium. I became interested in this hobby about three years ago when I started to work at a pet store. I also have two snakes ( a BCI and a Lavender Cornsnake), a tarantula (G.
