  1. The NLS site is at the address: . Anyway its Neils site so check out the food while your there, its great stuff. And What hybrids nfw thats crappy that store is toast. I hate killing fish.
  2. Sorry no pictures. But there is a nice picture of a male zunga on the FLS food site in the photo gallary if interested.
  3. My Aulonocara stuartgranti Zunga's are in the mood for some lovings. I just striped my smallest female for 30 free swimming little beautys. The interesting part is 10 of them are abinos. My male also breed my middle sized female last night so in another 2-3 weeks I'm expecting an even larger bach. Pretty cool for only having the fish for a month. O boy I'm pumped I just got back into fish, and I still have the touch I see. Yippy LOL.
  4. Trade them in at lps for something else. Your dominant male will not allow your sub domaninant males to colour up. But I would keep at least one to keep the colour always strong in the dominant male and give him something to fight (chase), and sparing the females a bit. That and if anything happens to the coloured male you have a replacement. That and most stores will trade males for females as it is easier to sell males. Hope this helps, good luck
  5. I agree with the NLS pellets when they get a little older. But have you tried throwing some blood worm in there. You got to try it at least once its alot of fun. When I use to breed yellows I just feed them brine shrimp a good flake mixed with some blood worm. They would just rip it to shreads. And the show was very funny to say the least.
  6. I've found that decoy fish work great with most shy fish. There are many advantages to using them. They are great for letting the rest of the tank know if its feeding time for example. And there great for raising the confidence of your shy fish, and they make good punching bags for your males. Sparing the good fish. Why not look into some swordtailed molly or something that is cheap and can be readily replaced but looks some what attractive.
  7. thanks for the info. I'm thinking a community tank between my longiventralis and furcifers there body differences are the same as putting blues with pecocks, the longi would be the pecocks and the furcifers would be the blues in the example. They have some similarities but not many. I would like to know if any one has tried this yet. Sorry their not for sale and I wont have anymore fry for years, if I start breeding them.
