My jack dempses had some babies and Im not sure what to do, I don't have a extra tank to transfer them to. Will they be Ok in their tank as I do not have a extra tank if I need one it will have to wait a week. Right now they are in a 60g with some other dempseys, a couple of convicts, 1 parot. If I have toi buy another tank will a 10 g work or does it have to be larger. Any help would be awsome. :shock: :shock:

Awsome tank ane woodwork. Makes me want to build my own set up. Need a larger home to do it. I am always scared of sump type systems but reading your story makes me more comfy. The finished product is unbelievable and a joy to look at.

Cool thanks guys , that helps out a lot. Know I can go rock collecting for aquarium rocks this summer. I will try the driftwood when I get it set up I will post some pictures.

Im thinking of redoing my 60g cichlid tank and wanting to add some rocks to it, can I use river rocks that have been boiled and cleaned. I also have a piece of cool driftwood to add but it was for a lizard tank set up. Any tipps on getting it to stop floating. Add some sort of weight or soak it in a bucket of water?? Any tipps will be appreciated!
