they are eating every time i feed with nls

i just lost 4 red empress 2" and 4 malawi trout 1.5" in last two day. after i move my tank around the house. I have a 120 gal tank with was 25 fish, after the move some start dying. My ph 8.0 ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm but nitrate spike to 20 or 40 ppm. I did 33% water change each day and still didn't help. What else can i do so no more will die.

i got about 150lb of limestone rock so that so help keep the ph high

the guy at bigals sold me kent ph control plus so i should return it

when out and bought eheim 2028 for $299 at bigals because they are discontinue the wet/dry 2229. any one use this filter before

i start a 120 gal tank with 2 red empress right now want to add 10 more red empress, 4 dimidiochromis compressiceps, and 4 champsochromis caeruleus (malawi trout) my tank is at 7.8ph, should i add kent ph control plus or other chemical or just keep it as it is. What other chemical do you put in other then ph

I thinking of getting eheim Wet/dry 2229 filter, i wonder if it that good compare to the normal canister. I have a 120gal with fx5, should i put out $400 for this or get a differ one
