Epsom salt dissociates into its ions, Magnesium and Sulfate, when added to the water. Magnesium contribute to General Hardness (GH) What about sulfate? Will it lower the PH?

Hi all, I was in the LFS recently and was told about CR6 is a colour-enhancer which will make the fish look more attractive. Anyone know what is CR6? any info on this?

Beside using peat and driftwood to keep the water soft, do I still need to put in some oyster shells in the filteration system to maintain ph 6.0 to 6.9

It's advisable to add Epsom salt during regular water change or is just meant for medication/treatment purpose? will overdose of Epsom Salt kills the fishes? Thanks.
