I have a breeding group of these fish. The person said that they were Albino Eureka Reds,so I went online and looked around and that's what I thought. Then I went to sell some and they said the aren't a true Albino Eureka Red fish. Could this be true? Are these fish ALWAYS hybrid? Are they worth anything? I was told from more than one person that they are a rare ish fish.... is this true? I thought they would be a good fish to breed,but if they are a worthless fish is it worth the time?

I've been getting mixed replies about this fish... any advice would be great!

I bought a tank setup and it came with these fish. I don't know if I want to keep them or sell them. They are all rather large. Any tips on how to breed them? Or how much they might be worth?

Okay,so I bought a Fluval 405. I was just wondering if anyone knows how many sponge filters I need in there. 2 or 4,one side or both sides? ( not the media side ) Please let me know.

My EBJD's are young. I want them to grow together. Mine are around 3in. I'm really new to this site,so I don't really get your last post: EBJD can be as aggressive as the normal ones. Especially when 4+ inches. As for inbreeding and crossbreeding...PM Neil and ask him for the articles he forwarded me. I cannot seem to find it. Neil: Do you mind forwarding it to me again re: inline and cross out breeding please.

Okay,but I talked to a lot of discus people and they said that as long as they are small,for a period of time it would be alright.

So I bought some discus a few weeks back. So now I have 13. I change the water %20 every two days and once a week %40-%50. Six of my discus are young,like 2". So everything is going just fine,a few of them are dark,new home,new tank,so normal kinds of things. The PH is around 6-6.5,water temp. at 86 and good food. The tank is 50 gallon hex. tank. So anyways, back to the dark Discus..... 3 got their color, and the other 3 turn their color on and off every day. So I come home from work this evening and two of the dark ones died! Anyone have an idea?

Jonas? I'm new to this site. Also, I thought that normal Jacks are a lot bigger. Is this true? People also say that the Electric Blues have have had a lot of their aggressiveness bred out? Again, just some questions.

That's sounds pretty good. Do you breed or sell discus?

Is it 2 fish, a mated pair or a breeding pair? What size? What quality? Pics would really help Two fish,mated. 6 inches.

Does anyone know how much a 2 year old pair of Red Map discus should cost?
