Thanks Jason, What floating plants would you suggest? Why hasnt the tank cycled yet? The water was perfect up till a few days ago! I put some prime in last night after the water change and the treatment for Ich, I'm planning on another 25% water change tonight. Do you think that is a good idea? Do you have any plants for sale, I see you are also in the park.

Well before i get my 260 Gallon set up i think i need to learn more from my 55 Gallon. I know have Ich and i cant get my Nitirite level below 3 Any suggestions, we have done 2 days of 25% water changes and medication for the Ich. The Nitrite level is dropping but very slowly.

Your tank is amazing, I hope i can do my 260 gallon like that one day. Such beautiful colours and textures. Listen to me, not very manly eh! Still nice tank man!

Hi Guys, Just thought I would share our news with you all. We have our 55 gallon up and running now, its starting to look good now. We have also just found a bargain that we couldn't resist. We have found a 260 Gallon tank and stand for $500. Its an 8ft long Aquagiant with nice curved corners at the front. We are excited to pick it up but we have to develop the basement before we set it all up so that will be a project for the future. Does anyone have any comments on an Aquagiant tank, good or bad? Also how do i edit my profile so you can all see what i have in my 55 gallon so far! You know so it appears every time i post. Steve

We only have a Dalmatian molly left now as our sailfin molly died tonight We will have to back to petsmart tomorrow and get him replaced. We were planning on putting our 6 baby platys in the 55 gallon tank when they are big enough to survive. I dont know if i will now though if we are going to have some freaky baby's. I did add a picture to my profile but i dont know where it has gone

Hi, My wife and I have just started a new 55 gallon tank, we have both wanted a nice fish tank for years now but have never got round to buying one. Recent we were given a little frog in a flower vase! He was happy in there but we decided to get him a 10 gallon tank and some new friends to share his new home. This is were our new hobby began, so far we have 2 Dwarf Gouramis 5 neon tetras 1 dalmatian molly 6 fancy tail zebra danio's 2 juili catfish 1 platy 1 small angelfish 2 otto catfish 1 inspector pleco 2 pea puffers 2 indian tiger barbs We lost our first Angel fish yesterday and had him replaced by the shop. We then came home tonight and our black sailfin molly was also dead. I dont know why as our water has been tested 2 at the shop and it is perfect. I just hope and pray we dont lose any more. Any way that is our tank so far, any advice to us newbies will be appreciated. We have a selection of live plants as well but i dont know the names of them yet. Steve and Martine.
