That's cool. It helps disprove the fish are stupid can't teach them anything theory that a lot of people have.

Was thinking of adding one or two clay pots as caves for my clown loaches. Is there anything I should stay away from or would any type of clay pot be fine? Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks for the info. I am still fairly new to this hobby.When I informed the store that even the fish still in thier tank showed signs of Ich his attitude was that it looked fairly recent and oh well. He also had no intention of quarentining them. I won't mention the store as I don't wish to discredit them on what I hope may be an isolated incident. Thanks again for the help. :bow:

Malichite green is the ingrediant and thar is why the store recomended half dose. Water levels are fine for ammonia and nitrites. Should I do a water change? :well:

Hi guys I could really use some help.Last Wed. I bought two new clown loaches a little over an inch long. After getting them home I noticed they had what appeared to be Ich. Started treating them with Quick Cure at half the recomended dosage as per guy at fish store. Now this morning one is dead. Was it the Ich or should I be worried about something else? All fish are very activ and I canT see any more signs of Ich on any of them. Confused and frustrated :cry:

I was wondering how to mix the salt solution for treating Ich? I notice everyone says to use salt but not how much. May seem like a stupid question to some but I am new to fish keeping. Thanks in advance for info.
