Good Afternoon, I'm in Calgary I've been attempting this hobby for about a year and a half, however i'm completely new as far as info goes. I've been following a friend's advice but decide to start doing my own research and am quickly learning i have a lot to learn I started with a 10 gal then upgraded to a 25gal and now on to a 50gal which i've had going for about 2 weeks, lost a tang and a fox face 2 days after the the transfer which lead to me doing my own research. I have about 50lbs of live rock sand bed a few corals and some livestock: 6 line wrasse, damsel, ocellaris clown, sea urchin, 3 hermits, 4 turbo snails and a lobster. I'll see if i can take some photos over the next week!

Was wondering the same thing, is there a preferred water conditioner for Calgary tap water? Up until this point i've only been using ChlorXchange and haven't been letting the water sit, does anyone have advice or a link for water changes without RO/DI since it's not in the cards for the immediate future. I have a 50 gallon tank with about 50 lbs of live rock, sand a few corals
