There are small ones like the Fluval system at Canadian tire. I found the threading matched and it was cheaper then Fluval from the Lfs. I then moved to a paintball canister as I upgraded my tank. I used the following http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showthread.php?t=115850 After all said and done it costed me 30 for the parts as I got a few second hand parts.

Buy the refills at canadian tire. It is half the price of Fluval. Or buy an adjustor and hook up a 20 oz to the Fluval connector .

I find that my shrimps enjoy them in the tank. With that being said, they destroyed all of them.

The green coloration is where "brain" would be. I don't think it's eggs because dont the eggs grow under the swimmerettes. Can ghost shrimps get parasites? I'll try to get a pic uploaded soon

Hi all, Just reviving a old thread. I currently have 4 ghost shrimps in my community tank and one of them has a llittle green coloration in the head. Does anyone know what this is and if it is contagious?
