Here are some pics of my blue babies and my odd man out, Kratos the nimbochromis livingstonii. They are adorable. This is my initial tank setup, love the sand but would like to incorporate some wood into the tank, create some higher rock formations, change the background, and add some peacock cichlids. That is so pretty! I have been thinking of turning my crested gecko tank into a planted habitat and the only miniature orchid I have seen is a Phalaenopsis. Are there any types of orchid you would suggest for my tank?

My boyfriend has been on Alberta Aquatica for about six months and really enjoys this site so I decided to join. I am not a big internet person but I worked in a small town pet store when I was in high school and fell in love with fish. For the past 6 years I have kept koi but it was time for a change. we have four tanks in our house at the moment. A 55 gallon planted community tank with swordtails, platys, guppys, corys, hatchetfish, amano and wood shrimp and our rubber nose pleco Dr Jones. We have 20 gallon barb tank in the nursery and a 10 gallon planted hobby shrimp tank for fun. I have a 90 gallon tank with a pleco I am in the process of converting in to a African cichlid tank. I fell in love with the Malawi Blue Dolphin cichlid (cyrtocara moorii). Who could not love that face and those big lips
