  1. What happened to all your Orchids. I don't keep any Oncidiums myself. Where did you look for them ? I can definitely help with suggestions but I would have to know what the conditions in your tank are. From what I know about Cresties the first orchid that that comes to mind is Phalaenopsis. The don't need much light or humidity and the have real pretty flowers. There are lots of options but without knowing anything about your tank/growing conditions it's hard to recommend anything.
  2. That Oncidium is on my wish list. I heard it has an amazing smell. If you flower your NOID orchid I might be able to help you. Pics right now might help narrow things down without flowers but positive ID will be difficult. Paludariums are the best of both worlds
  3. Thanks man. I have lots of orchids and other plants if you ever want to work out a trade
  4. Hello everyone This is my paludarium. It has over 100 species of plants. Mostly miniature orchids and other tropical plants. Even though it doesn't seem like it but there is pretty wide variety of "aquatic" plants like java fern, subwassertang, riccia, mondo grass, microswords, cryptocoryne , and a few others I don't remember the name of. There are some shrimp and assassin snails in the water section and the main land area is home to a group of three bumblebee toads. Some of you might recognize this tank from either the orchid show or the Edmonton Reptile & Amphibian Societies spring show last weekend. I was a vendor there as Nile Consultants and I custom make tanks like this one. I have learned a lot from this forum and would like to thank all the contributors who make this forum one of the few that are a valuable source of information. Thank you also to the members of ACE who as always have been supportive, informative and very friendly. Pleasure knowing you all and hope to stay in touch. Hope you like. Mishaal
  5. I guess that wasn't such a good idea. Had some plants to give away but nobody wants them so I will have to find them a home.
  6. I can't upload more pics cause I've reached my limit. So what now ? Do I have to delete some of my older pics to download new ones or what ?? Thanks in advance
  7. LOL !!! You guys are funny. Mine is empty hmmmmm... :hey: I have another question but that will be a different topic. Thanks guys
  8. What is this Warn Status Bar and how do you get rid of it ?? Thank you
  9. Any chance you can find some Apistogramma Macmasterri "Super Red" ??
  10. Great demo . Now that's what I call instructions. One question though, will your regular construction glue be safe.
  11. :welcome: Hi Mike . Boy do I know how you feel. If you were at the auction then there is NO help for you. "lol" :drunk:
  12. :welcome: Hey man I'm pretty new too but I had a good size reptile collection myself before I meved here & I can tell you that your idea works especially if you leave the tanks uncovered. Potted plants work too. Good luck.
  13. :smokey: Thank you all. Hi Jenny. You really think I made good buys Nick. NOW WHAT. "lol". Any ways everybody; Ihave lived all over the world & finally settled in Canada aver 10 years ago :ml:  . Throughout the whole time, wherever I was, my love and Need for animals & nature was constant. Now I am here in Edmonton Alberta & with the climate here indoors it is. "lol". Besides I've kept fish before & I've always been fascinated. :w00t: I have a hunger for knowledge & I feel lucky to have found out about the auction more from the people I met than the things I bought.
