no real plants just the plastic fake ones and yes you can see shells and antennaes and there is like 100s of them lol are they bad to have them in a community tank like should i be removing them all or let them grow ive never had snails and know nothing about them

so i came back from christmas holidays to see a bunch of small white dots all over the drift wood thats in my angel tank i took a closer look and it seems to be small white snails i have never had snails in this tank or any other tank and i have own this tank since it came out of the box is this normal for hundreds of snails to just develop like this i cant see how else they got in there

All the ph and ammonia levels are fine i threw in an air stone and lifted the hose from the filter so its splashing à bit more and they seem to be good now thanks for the help

But Whats even more odd is all morning there acting normal at the bottom now

So this morning they were fine i added some water cause it was alittle low and now all my cichlids are hanging out at the top of my tank i have a 75 gal with an fx5 any ideas they wer all facing the same direction too could be a coincedence but seems something is wrong

Awesome thanks is this common with sand tank setups or did i do something wrong to start

So i Just bought a 75gal i got sand for it and while filling it it stirred up the sand and it wont clear i changed à good 75% and same thing What am i doing wrong and Whats the fastest way to clear it up

so i currently looking at a 180 gal tank but it only comes with the tank im looking to start an oddball freshwater tank and i have no idea how big of a pump and filter just wondering what you guys would suggest as well as the heater

Hey guys and gals obviously im new to the forums and new to this hobby. Ive currently got just a 25gl fresh water with 2 black shark cats 2 angels black and white 2 dalmation mollies and a pleco. I am looking to expand to a bigger tank and eventually get to a salt water tank setup but i have alot to learn and hoping this site can help me out. Looking forward to learning from some people with way more knowledge then me lol.
