Water Lettuce is another one that can take over the top as well. I'm removing new growth at least once a week to keep it from blocking out light in my tank. But I do like the plant (as does my Betta and cherry shrimp).

Hey everyone! I'm actually just gettting back into aquariums and am trying to get more into aquascaping and freshwater planted tanks. I've already made a complete mess of my tank (on a couple seperate occasions) but I'm slowing making progress

Nice Setup. Also, what kind of plants do you have in that tank? They look great!

Here's my 15 gallon column tank. I'm still not quite happy with the layout of the plants and am trying to think of better positioning. Fish: Veiltail Betta (hiding from the camera) Neon Tetras Cherry Shrimp Zebra Nerite Snail (Blending into the background) Plants: Water Lettuce Water Wisteria Red Flame (I think) Dwarf Hairgrass Christmas Moss
