  1. I have some but unfortunately I live in Ontario. If you can't find them out your way Lmk and we'll figure out how to get some out to you.
  2. I keep many Cory's and breed some as well. Diet could be an issue but it sounds to me like you started with unhealthy stock. I never purchase fish if they show any signs of illness or poor physical shape. As far as over feeding, I feed all my Cory's live or frozen food daily and quite heavy when I'm condoning them to spawn, the only thing I suggest is to keep water conditions clean as excess food will spoil quickly.
  3. You can try here http://angelfins.ca/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_14&products_id=1975
  4. I have 2 20 gallon tall tanks that I use for daphnia. I use the light method as well, when the daphnia swim to the top I can vacuum the bottom.
  5. I would recommend pool filter sand. I use it in all my Cory tanks and is obvious Cory safe. A 50 lb bag is about $10.
  6. That's great news, 80 eggs would be dream spawn from my greens. I only get 12-25 eggs. Hopefully with winter coming on those numbers will increase.
  7. My black Cory's when conditioned well, follow the low pressure theory. My greens will typically spawn within 5 days of the black Cory's regardless of weather fronts. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence but....
  8. Just thought I'd share my experience as my perimeter are different. Before I do, by change did you have a low pressure front come through the day they spawned? My tank is a 65 gallon tall, 3f and 4m. Thank Matt's are otto's and a betta. I keep the tank at room temperature, I have to fertilize bi weekly just to have nitrates due to the plants. I run an eheim 2213 & 2217 with a hydor 825 gph power head. I wish I could predict when they spawn but I can't, I just feed them live and frozen food to keep them healthy and nature seems to take care of the rest. On a side note I believe that my group is getting to old for breeding as the spawns lately have been small. Good luck with your group and fry.

    Hello All

I'm from Ontario but enjoy fish forums abroad. I've been back into the hobby for about 5 years. I currently have 16 tanks with a couple more about to have fish added. I currently keep many different corydoras and breed a few. I also have bn plecos breeding and patiently waiting for my zebra plecos to breed. I also enjoy keeping tetras, rasboras, danios and shrimp. I hope to share my experiences and learn from the members here.
