Good morning! New to the forum, just bought a used 42 gallon hexagon tank and it currently only has about 9 neon tetras in it. My husband and I wanted to start small, learn how to keep consistent water conditions etc. Goal eventually will be to upgrade to a bigger tank where we can keep Discus as we are fascinated by them. But would currently love some ideas of colourful fish that are fun to observe that would fit in will with our tetras! Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum

Wow, gorgeous fish! Having discus like this is my ultimate goal, but fairly new at this so working at perfecting my water with some other easier species first!
