I was at Nature's about two days ago and saw some of these.

Generally for these things, if it does not state it in the fine print, it is good for anything in the store. This one seems pretty general to me, but giving them a call wouldn't hurt!

I just re-started a 100g tank and decided to make it a community one. I was just wondering what would be a good cleaning crew for this set up. I currenty have coarse gravel (approx .5 cm) and I'm planning to put a few basic plants in like java fern, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. s.h.

i know that someone on here has an extent knowledge on puffer fish but i dont remember who. but i was just wondering. what would be reccomended tank wise to keep 1 or 2 of the figure eight puffers.

thanks for the info, right now it looks fairly fleshy and im hoping to set up a small 5 gallon tank with good filtration for him to swim around in and do water changes daily to keep out infections

so i just got a demasoni and introduced him into my tank and such. I came back two days later to see him lying on his side on a rock with his tail fin completely nipped off. i dont have a seperate tank to put him in so i put him in a net breeder for now. I've been treating with melafix so far. Is there anything i can do to help him get his tail fin back? and how long will it take? any help is appreciated

could i put corydora and shrimp in the same tank or would they conflict?

im thinking of starting a planted tank. i was looking at the AC series and a rena xp2 for a 46 gallon. what would u suggest for this?

i found him laying there motionless this morning i wonder what happened

i just got him today. Gina brought them back from calgary and one is fine but the other one started to swim quite weird as soon as i put him in the tank. looked like he had a broken tail. i used my hands (which were of course washed) to put the fish into the tank after floating them in the bags for half an hour. some of the fish picked on him and thats when i decided to place him into the fish net breeder. i found him hiding behind a rock not moving and thougt he was dead but then caught him and placed him in. he is now floating upside down but his fins are still moving and such. harold told me that the fish were fine and gina said the same as well and i do not doubt them. could it just be the stress from travelling to so many different tanks in a short period of time?

ok well it seems that it might not be a broken tail im not too sure. right now i have him in a fish breeder net and hes upside down but still swimming. is he not going to make it?

i just recently purchased a ruby red from harold and it seems to have a broken tail. its quite pale around the tail area and is swimming awkwardly. it seems quite helpless and is swimming in the corner by the heater. is there anything i can do to help this? will he last in my tank?

hey, i just got into the hobby of fish. my main interested right now are african cichlids. i own a 100gallon tank that has housed 3 arrowana's at seperate times and a community tank when i was younger. it now houses 2 giraffe cichlids, 1 yellow lab, 1 pseu. socolofi, 2 pseu. acei, 2 Neolamprolugus Brichardi and 2 neolamprolugus pulchar, and my hi fin spotted pleco,hoping to completely stock it. also have a 10 gallon running containg 2 ghost shrimp, 1 harlqeuin, 1 hengli and 3 copper rasbora and 2 endlers. i hope to learn as much about the fish as possible. and hello everybody!

thanks for posting the pictures! i have both of those types. very beautiful fish. they are currently in a 10gallon with 6 plants. in there i have 1 harlequin, 1 hengli, 3 copper rasboars , 2 endlers livebearers and 2 ghost shrimp. very happy looking tank! will be upgrading to a 55gallon planted soon! thanks again for helping me

will they still end up looking the same? or quite similar?

I recently picked up 1 harlequin rasbora and 3 copper rasboras. they all have the same design on the body but the copper rasboras are much smaller. i was just wondering if they are the same but the coppers are just babies.
