You want excitement, go for muskie, bass, or pike on the fly, or come down south and try some pirarucu, aruaña, or tucunare....now there's a fight. I haver used a fly rod for Pike in the spring before, what a riot. They put up an incredible fight when the water is cold and they are not sluggish. I tied a deer hair mouse and flipped it out 20 feet from shore. You could actualy see the wake behind the fish as it was making it's lunge.
