Perlmutt Spit Eggs.....what to do??

My perlmutt had a mouth full of eggs, I moved her into one of those floating tanks yesterday. Today she spit all the eggs she was holding. There was 6 but now only 5. We left here in there for a few hours to see is she would pick them up again, but she had no interest in them. How can I tell if they are fertilized, and since I don't have an egg tumbler, how can I try to get them to hatch?? Any help would be appreciated greatly.

a homemade tumbler might work . As long as you can set it up, even in a 2L pop bottle, to have an airstone at the bottom keeping the water moving, maybe a drop of meth blue.

That sounds easy enough to put together. I will try that tonight. I should be able to get meth blue from LFS right? Thanks for the info, this will help big time.

Best quick fix for a tumbler is a strainer from the kitchen. Find a way to attach it so it doesn't sink and stays in one place, and run an airstone underneath it to keep the water moving around the eggs. Good luck.
