patrick
Recently I've been thinking about setting up a nano salt water tank.Any views on the biocube I have a 8 Gallon BioCube at work. I had SW in it first but I changed it to FW. Because of the small size it requires daily attention, and that was not possible in my office. The build quality is good, and so is filtration and lighting. My water temp got really hot so I would not reccommend the 8 Gallon unless it's in a cool basement or airconditioned room. I had a small PowerSweep in mine to increase the water cirkulation and that brought the temps up to 28-29C in the afternoon without using a heater, and this was in my air conditioned office. I had to have the small lid oped to keep the temp down but then of course on a long weekend the evaporation would bring down the waterlevel too much, which in turn raised the salinity... super fish
ya if i were to get one it would be the 14 or 29 (if those are the right numbers)
Medicdude
The 14's had some issues with ballasts and cooling fans burning out. The 8's and 29's were fine.
