I've been puttsing with this here and there for several months, and finaly got it to this stage. I will be moving my toads and tree frog into it in a week or so but for now I have to cycle the wet side to remove the stuff friom the parging that I used.

Is that just a piece of styro you used to make the partition?

Yes I carved it with a razor knife then used a torch on it to reseal it. After that I coated it with sanded colored grout , and sprinkled fine gravel on it.

I forgot to mention that the tank is a 45 gallon tall. 36 long 24 tall and 12 deep. I will also be putting a few small live bearers in the wet side.

Careful with the Livebearers (if you use Guppies or Platies), I have read in my research that Firebellied Toads (if that's what you're putting in the tank) can and will on occasion take Guppies or other smaller fishes as a snack.

That's okay too. It is all part of nature. I have sword tails and platties breeding.
