dunl
Well, the flavus trio I got from Chums a month ago started breeding today. The coolest thing was watching them breed on the SIDE of the tank - vertically! They would make the same circling motions as most mbuna normally do, and the female would rush back tp catch the falling egg. Very cool. I have heard of labs doing this on the top of a cave. The male is very territorial. Kinda funny to watch my male(s) red zebra, fryeri, and venustus run from something about 3 times smaller than them. Now, if only she will hold to term.... Thanks Chums, great fish! Edited January 30, 2005 by dunl

dunl
Well, actually they were breeding on the side of a filter in the tank, but still cool, nonetheless.
