shannabel
Ok this may be a dumb question but will Haps cross breed? Shannon S
Vallisneria
Yes, they cross breed quite easily. Its best when keeping haps together in a tank to not keep species from the same Genus. ex. dont' keep taiwan reef and red empress together as they are both from the protomelas genus and will easily crossbreed. Just like when choosing Mbuna, try to pick species that dont' resemble eachother.
shannabel
Okee Dokee thanks so much. I kinda thought they do after I noticed my unidentified female hap was holding and the only other hap was a Kandango in my tank. Unless she was holding unfertilized eggs. Not sure if they do this or not. I am more familar with Mbuna. Shannon S
