werner Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 Just got back from a vacation in Mazatlan- Here's some of the neat stuff we saw: Pelicans on fish patrol. Crazy ants all over one tree. Couldn't tell what they were carrying. Iguana tracks. A nervous iguana- went right into the water when we got near. The big dominant male iguana. He bobbed his head at us and told us to get lost. At least 3.5-4 feet long. Our resort One cool feature of the resort is that it has a sea turtle sanctuary. Eggs are collected from the beach and hatched, and then the babies are released into the ocean.
