happeboy
with labs and Acei I have had the best luck with taking the mom out and letting her stay in her own tank till she spits then taking her out. Would that work here too? or will she spit the egg/fry? I dont want the fry eaten.
African_Fever
Wow! That was quick! Congrats! Best bet for keeping fry is separating in a tank by herself.

happeboy
Blast! She spat maybe 5 or 6 eggs. I still see 3-4 in her mout though. It was my fault I didnt let her into the new tank smothly she kinda flopped. Is there any chance she may pick them up, or they could survive with out her? geoff
i've had fish spit some of their eggs and they've never picked them up and they won't survive without the tumbling thats usually done by the mother
