Shrimps are a breed'n!

Besides the red cherry shrimps, Taiwan blue shrimps, and red and black srystal bee shrimps, guess who else are breeding.........

I thought I'd share a few pictures of my breeding Snowball shrimps and Tiger shrimps.....

Just be careful with mixing species. From what I've read, the dwarf varieties are related and will interbreed. If you're looking for pure strains, keeping them together could become a problem.

Congrats, though. Your tigers are really beautiful.

Supposedly the Tiger (Caridina sp. "Tiger") and the snowball (Neocaridina sp.) shrimps don't interbreed. But thanks for the heads up. And, just to be safe, I've also got a few other tanks going as species only tanks.

Here's a picture of some of the Taiwan blue shrimps I have. They tend to change colour based on mood.
