rudy
Cons are probably one of the best parents there are. Many times cichlids will eat the fry when a new batch is coming. Cons welcome them so don't worry to much. If I was you I would find an exit plan for the 100s of cons you are about to have.

rudy
I wasn't going to suggest it, but Now that you did! Cons are great feeders. Disease free and an endless supply of them.
fatpuffer
Well, I was able to remove most of the month-old fry except for like 7-9 of them. at first, they were fine eggs were fertilized and the 9 fry are fine...once they started hatching, the fry started eating the wigglers and i guess the parents joined in...this morning there were like 5 or so wigglers and the 9 fry...when i got home the fry were gone and so were the wigglers...silly cons! js
