Steve G Posted August 11, 2008 Report Share Posted August 11, 2008 Just saying hi as I search Edmonton for a "real" aquarium. I have had fish all of my life and now have a 55 Gal freshwater set-up. I just built a beautiful new house and want to upgrade to something >100 gal but finding one at the right price is ludicrous. This one is to be a showpiece and centerpiec for the living room. I think the only way to cut costs, is to have someone build your cabinet piece, and purchase the tank seperately... sometimes on kijiji you can find some but you probably wouldn't want their stands as this is to be your "show piece". I believe there are a couple of custom design places that offer their services, not sure if you have checked them all out, but the one's I know about are: Aquarium designs Aquarium Illusions Aquarium Enthusiasts they all have websites too. If someone else knows of more places to go for this "special" piece maybe they could list it for you, then you can go out and about and obtain some quotes. Best of luck!
