Three questions...(for now)

Alright, how does this look:

5 Aulonocara stuartgranti

6 Pseudotropheus saulosi

6 Labidochromis caeruleus

I know this is a mixed malawi set up, but I think it will be very nice. If I wanted to add some red to the mix, what would you suggest? Also, what should the m/f ratio be?

Thanks,

B

I've never kept saulosi before so I'm unsure about them the other 2 should be fine---I like to mix things up quite a bit but I generally don't like to mix peacocks and haps with mbunas it can work, but their behaviors just don't mix most of the time----I would skip the saulosi's and replace them with a couple species of haps---just remember don't shop for your fish in fish pic galleries check what your local stores have in stock .

For some red you could try this guy,

Aulonocara stuartgranti "Ngara"

You could also try red fin borleyi

I think you will have a very nice setup, good luck!

If/when your saulosi's breed, they will be very agressive towards the other two groups.

Fair enough. Do you have any suggestions as to what species will fit with the saulosis?
