fish_geek
What should someone expect to resonably pay for a colony of tropheus? I realize there are many varieties so a range is all i'm looking for.
JORG
Very hard to answer----but somtimes you can get fry for as cheap as 5 bucks or you can go as high as 60 bucks for wild caught ilangi's depends where you are shopping and how many you want
Fishful Thinking
Duboisi should be the cheapest as they are the most common. I paid $10 for kiriza juvies and $12 for chimba juvies. The Kiriza were from a hobbiest and they were at least 1.5 inches and the chimba were from Spencer Jack and were closer to 1-1.25 inches. I saw on the last order from Spencer Jack that Kirizas were going for $14.50 per fish. When you are buying 20-30 fish, a couple of bucks per fish can add up!
