So how much could you expect them to put on in the first year?
-
How quickly do they grow?
-
Saw these today for the first time in person. Impressive, especially the two inch female that was running the tank. How difficult are these to raise? Is bloat a major issue?

Must see Fish stores in Edmonton?

I was thinking of switching up my 150 (tall) and putting my 7 angels (4 inch range) in it. Would any geophagus (steindachneri, surinamensis) be compatible with them? If I decide to go with geos even without the angels, what would be compatible with them? Cories? Bigger tetras? Thanks for the help!

How much is shipping?

Rummy nose would work nicely, too.

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Congrats on picking up some awesome looking fish.

Great, where can I find them?

Looking for some fertilizer tabs for my sword plant that I could buy at the gardening or hardware store (to save some $). Suggestions?

Added moss from another tank. The forktails instantly went into breeding mode!

I was wondering if it were possible to still do CO2 and ferts on a low light planted tank without getting a whole bunch of algae. Maybe drop the BPS on the CO2 and cut the ferts in half?

Rasboras and forktails will often mix schools. Other than that, there will occasionally be a cardinal or rasbora in with the rummies. The rummies are the best for sticking together as a group. Feeding time, however, is a mad free-for-all!

Well, the adventure continues. After having the tank shut down for almost 8 months, I got it back rolling on the weekend. Stocking: 40 rasbora hengli, 40 cardinals, 36 rummynose, 36 forktails rainbows, 8 whiteclouds, 6 galaxy rasboras (danios), 4 corydoras hastatus and 3 ottos. The tank is low light planted currently. It is surprising how far a jam packed 25 gallon can plant a big tank. Watching the big schools cruise the tank is mesmerizing! I still have to put the background on, but so far I am very happy with how it is going.

Looks awesome, Jason! I look forward to the "after" pictures once the new light goes on.
