RD.
For those of you that might be interested, this is now taking place in a couple of farms in Florida, and some of the very first juvies produced have landed in Red Deer. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/s...5030&page=

CORVETTE
I wondered how long it would take for someone on this side of the pond to start doing hormone injected spawning of clowns. They have been doing it for some time in Europe i think the Ukraine. Least it will help with the wild population.
RD.
It sounds like it's fairly labour intensive, and quite frankly unless they are damn near giving the juvies away, I don't see this ever taking off here in NA, unless they start coming down with some serious collection restrictions in Indonesia. The climate is too cold here, even in S. Florida they would have to be kept in heated vats or tanks, and the cost of wild clowns is so cheap via wholesalers, that even with the cost of shipping a 3" clown can be landed here in NA for only a few $. (if purchased in quantity) Nevertheless it's interesting to see them being bred here, and I guess only time will tell how successful the farms in FL are going to be.
