Bandi
I bought a group of fish from a fellow and he said this was a Jack Dempsey. I haven't seen any other JD that looks like this...what do you guys/gals have to say about him...or her...I really don't know.
Parachromis1
that dempsey looks like normal morph to me. the body on it looks out of shape and bent to me
rayfong
that dempsey looks like normal morph to me. the body on it looks out of shape and bent to me I was just going to say that. Looks like the last owner had it in too small a tank or something.
Powerz69
It looks like the same color as the one i had. I noticed it did change color often. light blue happy, dark black angry.
Bandi
Then this guy must be angry all the time...he is almost always dark black. He does go kind of pale on the face if he is scared or being harrassed too much by the other fish. I have had him nearly two months now, and he doesn't do a whole lot. He just hovers in one corner. He does eat when it is feeding time. But he always looks depressed.
firestorm
He definitely looks stunted in growth, hence the nice hump on his back. As for coloring my JD goes from dark to light as well. Dark colors in fish often mean they are stressed. Who is he in with, and what size of tank.
