thejman1
Im thinking of redoing my 60g cichlid tank and wanting to add some rocks to it, can I use river rocks that have been boiled and cleaned. I also have a piece of cool driftwood to add but it was for a lizard tank set up. Any tipps on getting it to stop floating. Add some sort of weight or soak it in a bucket of water?? Any tipps will be appreciated! Edited April 27, 2009 by thejman1

Lana Bollers
Yes you can use river rocks or even go to a farmer that has a pile of rocks just sitting in their field. (that is what i did). To keep the drift wood from floating, put some fishing line on it and anchor it down, you could use one of those river rocks you find as an anchor
