darkangel Posted May 2, 2009 Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 After the first female decided she did'nt want to be a mom, and swallowed the eggs. I got a second chance to watch the spawning (no pics). I now have another female holding. The one good thing is that the boy has 5 more girls to play with. I also noticed another F-1 female yellow lab holding. I will leave both females in the tank for about a week before moving them and see what happens. I don't really care about the yellows, but sure would like to see the flamebacks. My male has nailed all six ladies in the last week, but they only seem to hold for 2 to 3 days and then swallow. I have 1 holding now that he got yesterday and I wittnessed another spawn today, Maybe they're shy. Might have to stop watching the aquatic porn. I will post when I eventually get fry.
