stribbelldk
I have two Red empress cichlids that look like their lips have dropped from their faces. The are fully extendended forward and have never settled back into place. It is starting to effect their eating and well of course the breeding. How can I get the lips back on their face???? I tried push and hold but did not work. Derek

RD.
Sounds like a dislocated jaw, which is actually more common than you might think. Sometimes they can be carefully popped back into place through manual stimulation, but the longer it goes the less chance of the fish ever recovering properly. RD.
Yep, and probably from fighting. Chances are they will never return to normal.
