Funky_Fish14
Not sure where specifically to look... but I can toss out a few numbers. Shrimp should live at least 5+ years, I've heard of the 15 year range. Crabs can live 5-10 + years, some larger ones often more, toward the 15+ range Average snails can live 5-10 years or more, larger snails often can reach double that or more. Fish... clowfish, 10-15 years should be common, sometimes more. Things like groupers I believe around 20+ range. Butterflyfish, tangs, etc... should all be 15+ Gobies, anywhere from 5-20 years. You get the idea. These are just generalizations... not all will be exact, but they should be close. Hope this helps. Chris

Chris Thanks for the info , only problem is not sure how old they are when I bought them LOL . The shrimp i had ( cleaner, fire and peppermint ) lived about 3 years . They were growing ( molting ) on a regular basis and seemed fine , then over about 2 weeks they all died . So I checked water parameters and all was good so Im not sure if there was a problem or if they died of old age . They had tripeled in size over the 3 years and looked good ( Do they get gray hair when they get old LOL ) .As for the fish they seem to be happy and growing so time will tell . Thanks again for the help .
Funky_Fish14
Your welcome. And, those lifespans would all assume idea conditions. Unfortunately, I doubt all the shrimp died around the same time just from old age. There may have been a small temporary change they just could not handle? Sorry to hear about the loss.
