I don't suppose you have access to a lightmeter, it would be cool to get some readings of the output from your new setup. bought the ebay one. I assume it'll get here somewhere around new years. Look at the mcd rating of the bulbs and the amount of current they consume. That will give you a fair idea of the output. As soon as you get into 1 watt or bigger LEDs, you need to have heat sinks as well.
