Burbot Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 Check the vents if you are not sure. Males seem to have a larger or equal sized front vent, females larger rear vent. This won't really apply if they aren't mature. If you have a copy of "Enjoying Cichlids" by Ad Konnings check out page 52.
