LadyBlue
I am trying to find a store or company that will cut some slate tiles 4 me at a reasonable price ? All idea's will be appreciated. Perhaps even a store that might have broken peices of Slate. Can ceramic tile be used safely in a fish tank ? Thanking you in advance

Thanking you in advance Any tile place can cut it if you ask nicely.....some will only cut when you buy. Ceramic tiles are no problem. If you ever in west edmonton I have 3 or 4 pieces of slate around here somewhere. John
Wingin' It
Just drop the pieces from a higher height! Go for a more rugged natural look! LOL I actually picked up some white marble from someone who had scraps leftover and they do look cool in a tank

darkangel
I have a wet saw that I use to slice up rocks and tiles, can cut up 1.5 inches thick. If you're ever in Morinville you can swing by and I'll cut them up for you at no cost.
