waster
just wondering what is appropriate to feed in a tank with 2 convicts and 6 tiger barbs i bought a variety of flakes and pellets (kelp and cichlid pellets) and frozen bloodworms to give them diversity. problem im finding is that all this stuff floats... the convicts just hand out at the bottom. im can "presink" blood worms in jar before dumping it in the tank... but got a feeling that the barbs will get most of it before it reaches the convicts any advice would be appreciated
BettaFishMommy
NLS has a sinking pellet in the right size, i believe. that should get to the convicts before the barbs get it all. you could try feeding the barbs at one end of the tank and drop sinking food at the other end for the convicts at the same time. polleni-puffer
You could also take your flakes ,put them in a jar with water and stir them around. They will sink. Also give them time. Mine (I have around 15 of them) all come up to the surface to eat. They might just be stressed.
