Vanisle
Hello every one, I recived a fairly new fire extingusher, I am asuming that it is empty, will have to make sure though. My question is is it posible to have it refilled with CO2, and a regulator atached. I was thinking of using it on a planted tank. Thanks L

Vanisle
Thats enough of a reply for me, I will check the recharge center to see if I can have them re-fit it. Thank you L
Boom
Wow , very interesting idea. I'm not a planted tank guy, but I never would have thought of that. Very ingenious. Boom :boom:
Jayba
Talk to zach at the recharge center. Let him know what you are up to. He is a wealth of information.

Vanisle
Does any one have a address or phone number for the recharge center.
Chopperman
Thats a great idea. It would look pretty cool too. The Irony of having a fire extinguiser bolted on the side of a giant tank of water.

Morphine
I believe a 10lbs Co2 Tank Brand New is running you about 120$ I can't see it costing less then that to refit a fire extinguisher and buy a reg and get someone to do it for under that. I'm very interested though! Prove me wrong
Jayba
I would thing you should be able to rig something up at a welding supply shop for a fairly decent price, I would think getting it filled would be the problem seeing as though it is a piece of safety equipment. Some people are rather anal about things like that.
