  1. Agreed, I also sent her an educating message suggesting the proper action towards giving up these fish for a better home. Paying for these fish is like supporting Puppy Mills.
  2. Can you PM the plant in the Front Right?
  3. Single most confusing statement i've tried to read online. Haha.
  4. I'm 90% sure Doc_Polit had one of these guys that he was shocked by a while back... It might not of been him BUT someone on this site has one and it's quite big if I remember correctly. I'll try to root around and try to find the post. It could have been Evolution as well I would ask both of them, though I haven't seen either around the site lately! Good Luck.
  5. Start digging and when she asks... what you are digging a hole in the yard for.. Look to her and say "Honey, This hole can be used for two things now you can let me dig this pond, or I can dig this hole 6 feet, and dig the pond around it. Your choice." orrrr......... possible put a rock barrier + railing
  6. Your fish look so happy!!! Do you ahve a link to your setup (what you are running filtration, skimmer etc.)
  7. I'm jumping on the NO train as well, I think it would be more of a hassle to boil, treat sink only to remove it when it starts to rot!! It is soft. If it was found near the Sask river I wouldn't put it near your fish tank, You would have 3 eyed, 2 bodied flying fish on your hands!!
  8. Depending on what your doing? Planted ? Coral? I would thinkg 175 would be a little low for plants, as 516 would be alot it would take some nice fert dosing and balancing!
  9. Good job with the move!!! Be careful as the added stress and pressure of the water can sometimes put to much on your seals!! Eeks then you have a FLOOD!!!!!! It's like a Manitobian Spring! ((Haha Too soon))
  10. That's super awesome hope "Lucky" survives -- Same sorta thing happened to me when I pulled out the plants in my 55G planted to sell them - I found 2 Otto's which I haven't seen in 6 months haha.
  11. Thanks, I can't wait for it to start to fill in!! I just threw in a few sinking algae waffers now I know I have WAY to many baby shrimp in this tank.. I gues i'll look forward in acouple months when they are big and hopefully get some out for trade!! I'll try to update every month or so on progress. I want to get the backround black I think that might make the plants and red shrimp pop out a little more.
  12. More pictures with an actual CAMERA, in it's new HOME. RIGHT SIDE VIEW LEFT SIDE VIEW LOTUS FRONT FRONT COMPLETE LEFT SIDE
  13. Dude I can't wait till your finished, I think I seen your posts on some other site and I was following your videos on YouTube and I totally forgot!!! I'm glad you posting on here to remind me. I know who's brain i'm picking when I build mine!
  14. Welcome, I couldn't agree more with the LFS Staff, Often they have NO CLUE what they are talking about, and often give customers wrong advice about so many different things that i've witnessed and I guess in my opinion. However there is once in a blue moon that staff member that knows exactly what they are talking about, I've spent an hour and a half talking to a man in the West Ed PJ's picking his brain for all the info I could grab. Coming into this hobby I spent atleast 4 hours a night reading different articles about different things, and it's knowledge that I wouldn't of known without reading. I would have to say the most important knowledge you will gain will be through experience, some bad some good. Hopefully the "Bad" don't push you out of the hobby, It happens to us all. Kicking yourselves for that one SMALL mistake to wipe an entire tank. DOH!!! Anyways that being said GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
