loquacity
what is a good bottom dweller that - Churns the sand up really good - Looks neat - doesn't get very big - isn't too expensive I currently have : - 2 dwarf african frogs - a few platies - 2 albino cory cats ( i thought the cory cats would churn the sand but they just brush the top millimeter or 2 ) OR should i just consider a type of snail Edited December 11, 2010 by loquacity
Guppygirl
For sand sifting, the best thing is the Malaysian Trumpet Snail,or so I have heard as I only have gravel but they do the job. They burrow through the sand looking for food. I am sure someone in your area has some. I know I have a tank full. They are a livebearing snail, so no eggs.
