Don't think you need a metal brace for it, seen a 96" x 48" x 30" glass aquarium done with no external braces. I would consult with a tank builder and get the real scoop. Northranger Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 Just remember if the glass guys are going to silicone it for you that they need to ensure they are not using the normal, mildue resistant silicone, it will leach chemicals into your tank.
