Vallisneria Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 19, 2011 Eheims are great, but their flow rate is lower - you may need to add a small powerhead in your planted tank. Yeah, I was considering putting a powerhead anyways since there is so many plants the spray bar alone doesn't seem to cause enough flow. I read through a bunch of Eheim reviews and they all seemed positive. Couldn't find too many complaints when I was googling it. Atleast nothing specific like a part leaking or a connection being weak. Do you think I could get away with the Pro 3 2071 on a 56gal planted? Or should I get the 2073?
